| ABOUT HUNTER MT. |
Hunter Mtn. is nestled among the Catskill Mountain Region of New York State, approximately 2 1/2 hours North of NYC, 1 hour southeast of Albany and 4 hours northeast of Philadelphia. The mountain has 240 acres of skiing area, 53 trails and 11 lifts and tows.
The mountain's summitt elevation is 3,200 feet and the vertical drop is 1,600 feet. 43% of Hunter's 53 trails are black or double-black diamond rated. 2 lifts are reserved for experts.
Hunter also boasts one of the largest snowtubing parks in New York State, a brethtaking snowshoe trail and one of the most comprehensive ski/snowboarding schools for both children and adults in the state.
